3.2.1    Demography

There are 46.2 % literate and 53.8 % of illiterate population. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Castes population is 5.6%, less than   17.5% and 76.9%, respectively.

3.2.2    Occupational Structure 

Out of the total population of 376360 is within buffer zone, 28.8% are Main Workers, 2.8 are Marginal Workers and 46.6% are Non Workers. 68.4 % of the total main workers of 61.9 % are Cultivators, 37.2% are Agricultural laborers and 2.0 % are Other Main Workers.

3.2.3    Community Services

There are 20 Post Offices & 2 Telegraph and 17 telephone connections within buffer zones of (CAIL) Unit.       
                                                                     
20 Primary Schools 14 Middle Schools,7 secondary schools, nil Junior and senior college within buffer zone of (CAIL) respectively.                            

There are 10 Post Offices & 3 Telegraph and 20 telephone connections within buffer zones of (CAIL). 

22 Primary Schools 13 Middle Schools,11 secondary schools, nil Junior and senior college within buffer zone of (CAIL) respectively.

There is 4 Dispensary, 4 Maternity home, Maternity & Child Welfare Centre, 1 health care unit, 2 primary health centers 2, primary health subcenters,1 Family planning Center, 2 nursing homes and 10 Registered Private Practitioners and 5 Nurses, 10 beds existing within buffer zone

There are about nil tap water supply, 19 wells, 12 hand pumps 1 Tank and 2 and places river and Nalla   water is supplied in the buffer zone of (CAIL).

3.3      Aesthetic Environment

Aesthetic    environment    includes    existence    of    historical    monuments, archaeological or architectural sites at and in the vicinity of industrial activity, scenic areas, vistas and natural landscape, architectural character of present building, etc.
